Atletico Madrid vs Racing 4- 0

The second Copa del Rey semi-final of the week between Atletico Madrid and Racing Santander ended in 4-0 scoring board at the Vicente Calderon fantastic patchy surface. Though this match was called as “the biggest fixture in the club’s history,” by Racing coach Miguel Angel Portugal, the game was on Atletico surface.

Racing scored none but Madrid goaled four. Simao kicked for Madrid at the 8th minute of the first half and José Antonio Reyes got the second goal at 40th minute of the game. In the second half, Diego Forlan hit two penalty goals for Atletico at 62nd and its 72nd minutes.
