Israel vs Malta 3-1

A hat trick was scored by Yossi Benayoun on Thursday in the qualifying campaign for the 2012 European Championship. Israel won with 3-1 against Malta.

The goal was scored in the 7th, 64th and 75th minutes. This is the first competitive game of Israel coach Luis Fernandez since he took the charge in May this year.

The remaining games of Group F will be played on Friday. The match will be with Latvia hosting Croatia and Georgia visiting Greece.

Werder Bremen vs Sampdoria 3-1

It was commanding win of Werder Bremen against Sampdoria and the team will carry an advantage into the next Tuesday’s Champions League.

    Spain has won the UEFA U19 European Championship final four times. In Friday’s match the team took the lead in the 18th minute when striker Rodrigo converted a shot to goal. In the 49th minute Gilles Sunu equalized the score. He expertly scored with the pass of forward Yannis Tafer.

    When the match was just to end, five minutes before Kakuta spun the ball around in midfield. Passing by with two central defenders, his shot was saved by goalkeeper Alex, but but he followed up and chipped the ball perfectly for Lacazette to head in at the far post.

    Francis Smerecki, coach of France, said: “I have known some of these players for four years, and they really deserve to be champions of Europe. They were really disappointed to lose the under-17 final two years ago. They really wanted to win tonight.”

    In 2005 France had won the tournament. Spain won it in 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2007.

    Liverpool paved the path by their marvelous start as they needed to win by two goals for the final in Hamburg on May 12. At the 41th minute of the match, Liverpool kicked a goal after the suspense rocks on the field and it was an impressive finish for Alberto Aquilani. They were nicely playing the match with 1-0 goals till the end of the second half.

    Barcelona goal keeper, Victor Valdes anticipation of victory of the team became a fact.
